you compromise your own ideas if you don't structure them well. you are doing an injustice to the things you want to say. you of course don't have to rigorously proofread and be 100% perfect but you should at least know the basic rules of the language in which you're writing

i truly don't get fic writers who say that they don't care abt grammar. and I am someone who routinely posts fic without proofreading and accidentally publishes some egregious spelling/grammatical errors, but I still have enough of the rules memorized to write effective prose

hey friendly reminder when you're writing dialogue in fics you're meant to end with a comma and not a full stop/period unless an action follows. so it should look like this "I love you, Michaela," Francesca said. and not like this "I love you, Michaela." Francesca said.
