Good afternoon all! Well I think I might have turned a corner slightly. As Brian said wasn’t it lucky you had it this week and not next week when Joe is off school. 🙄 I am still very nauseous and have stomach pain and my body aches but my headaches have stopped.

I am not well. 🤢 Stomach Flu. Poor me. 😔

But it’s such a busy week in school that this was the only day we could do. It’s always a very emotional day for us. But he is happy and that’s all we can ask for. My wonderful cousin brought a little cake yesterday for us to celebrate together.

Joe will have toast. At 2pm Brian and I are bringing in a birthday cake and party bags and hopefully getting some photos. And taking him home early. If we get 15 mins to do that it will be the height of it. It’s the best we can do. His real birthday is on Friday.

We haven’t told him because he hates birthday celebrations especially his own. It’s very complex. He doesn’t understand presents. And hates the song. Today the teacher has arranged for the whole class to go for a walk to the park and I am treating them all to a McDonalds.

Good morning all. Joe hasn’t slept for 2 whole nights because he is so excited that once Halloween is over Christmas can begin. He is so excited that he has jumped around the house all night. Also it’s his 18th birthday week. His party is in school today.

I made date and walnut loaf today. It’s just out of the oven and smells good. It’s huge. The recipe was in the Irish news so I thought I would give it a try. My SIL noticed an error in the recipe for the yeast so hopefully it will be nice. Going to try a piece now.

I had a great swimming lesson today by my friend’s daughter. She has given me a lot to work on moving forward with my back stroke and breast stroke. Then I got my nails done for the wedding I am off to on Thursday. My nails are short because they are breaking due to stress. 🙈

Operation my final stone is well underway. Gym and swim done this morning. Hopefully I can keep the consistency going and that it will break my stall. I think my body might be saying I am done but I have news for it. One more stone is my goal. And I am going after it!
