Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Queens Medal Winner - taken far too soon.
Lots of people to remember this year and every year, but Max George is the main one for me. We did Ph1 together in the summer of 2017. Super competent, fit, and professional, just also just a lovely down to earth guy. Gone, but never forgotten.

Such a special privilege to be able to plant a tree in this amazing place that has been so much a part of my military life and where I started my career in 1986 and finished it in 2022.
It is traditional, on departure, for Commandants to plant a tree within RMAS grounds. Major General (Retd) Duncan Capps CBE (Commandant Mar 20 – Aug 22) planted a Pinus leucodermis (Bosnian Pine) to commemorate his tenure as Commandant. #tree #RMAS #Sandhurst #Army #ourplanet
