Unbelievably sad news about Shane Warne. I’ve been photographing him from his Gatting ball (1993) right up to January this year, a few weeks ago. This photo was taken in Adelaide in December during the Ashes as he acknowledged cheering from spectators. A true one off. #ripshane

Just wanted to mention what fabulous and friendly people I’ve met and dealt on this very enjoyable trip to Pakistan. From hotel staff to drivers, police to groundsmen, all have been absolutely brilliant. Had some fun with the crowd in Multan at lunchtime today too.

Went to the same spot in the Oval Maidan as yesterday but was more aware of working with the shadows. Stood right next to the keeper. Did I get hit by the ball? Yes! On right foot, near my groin & on the heart. Fairly painful but in the end to me worth it.
