You are kids, and we wish nothing more for you to just be safe. Safe to crack jokes in the middle of class, safe to play on the swings at recess, safe to be 100% you without fear of judgement or attack.

We realize we don't fully understand what it's like to walk in your shoes, how frustrating — and frightening — it must be to know how much of your safety in school is outside of your control.

We're sorry we're failing you. And we're sorry that we have to apologize again and again and again.
