It might take time to build, but with duckpools v2 and governance laying the groundwork, we’re setting the stage for a thriving ecosystem. An ecosystem where the community can build their own novel features and help create some of the most compelling lending pools in DeFi 💪.

This is possible because in v2 loan settings are programmable and all loans are attached to individual UTXOs allowing individual loan settings 🦆. Loan settings can be programmed to reference risk factors like utility, DEX depth, # loans near liquidation, TWAP volatility.

duckpools v2 lays the foundation for DeFi Innovation. For example, v2 can support per-loan liquidation threshold- adjusting based on DEX depth, utility, and liquidation risk. This makes mass liquidations during black swan events far less likely. No other DeFi protocol can do this.
