It’s a very tough call. There are certainly safety concerns. But school is a safety net for a lot of kids, so staying closed can be detrimental, too. I sympathize with @ThomasTaylorEdD and other supts who have a hard decision to make.

FWIW: I predict a delay for Monday and maybe Tuesday, mainly due to brutal cold early. Also will be good to have sunlight because some sidewalks are not clear and walkers may need to be in the road.
