It's going to take many great companies to help better the way we manage end-of-life and hope this list can serve as a small catalyst for that change. Onwards and upwards! .

Today we're publishing that list to benefit anyone wanting to learn, and more importantly, to encourage founders looking for innovative opportunities to consider the category.

Met some incredible people during #LATechWeek, all of whom were interested in end-of-life, but weren't sure how to educate themselves. Reminded me that when we started building @with_autumn_co we couldn't find a list of startups in the space, so we documented everything we found.

No simple instructions for what to do now and what to do later. No way to invite people to the funeral, tell them where to go and how to help. No recommendation of who to hire or what to buy.

Ten years ago my Aunt Diane tragically died from a rare brain tumor and I watched my family scramble to manage everything that came after. Naturally, I was asked to help with “the digital things.” But when I looked to the web for the things they weren’t there.
