DO YOU NEED AN LLC TO DROPSHIP? No. Start as an individual/sole prop. LLC = protects your personal assets if the business gets sued or goes into debt. Licenses vary by state/country. Platforms don’t require it, but taxes still apply. (Not legal advice.)

EBAY JUST RELEASED BETTER BOOKKEEPING Seller Hub now has a new “Your Cost” field Add what you paid for the item (your supplier cost). When it sells, eBay shows Your Cost next to your net order earnings. Even on offers: you’ll see offer price + your cost before you accept.

4/ Put it to the test Pick listings that are consistently in stock, have clean photos, and solid margin. Go to Seller Hub -> Advertising -> “Promote Offsite”. Start with a small daily budget, watch clicks & sales for a few weeks, then decide if you scale it or turn it off.

2/ How the Ads Cost work: You only pay when someone clicks the ad & you can have eBay follow your set daily budget. eBay might spend a bit more on busy days, but it won’t go over your monthly max. eBay automatically tunes the cost per click per listing for you in the background.

1/ The Consumer Process Buyer searches on Google for the item. Your eBay listing shows as an ad. They click, land on your listing, and check out on eBay like normal. You just got a buyer who might’ve never opened the eBay app today.
