5. Backlogs & Sprints The backlog keeps track of everything that needs to get done. Pick projects based on how important they are to the business. Sprints get everyone working on one project at the same time. Projects get done faster, more projects get done, backlog clears.

4. Monthly Commits Each team member commits to 3 deliverables every month. These are larger projects that take more than a few days to complete. Review at the end of the month. If they don't/can't deliver on their commitments, we find out why & help them.

3. SOP & Checklist Library If what you do is in your head, it's useless to everyone else. Write it down or record it on video. Now everyone knows and you can train new hires faster.

2. Asynchronous daily huddles Each team member posts: - Wins from yesterday - Goals for today - Whether they're stuck on any task There's no point working remotely unless you're going to work asynchronously. 60 seconds this way or 5-20 minutes on a video call.

1. Objectives & key metrics For each role this document lists: - Tasks & responsibilities - How performance is measured - What good & bad performance look like Be specific & detailed. Review quarterly during one-on-ones. Sooner, if they're falling behind.
