Part of being a busy surgeon is keeping your mind & body in the best shape possible. I played tennis as a junior but quit to focus on debate & public speaking competition in high school. I picked tennis back up after I started my plastic surgery practice, & still play every week.

One of the most common questions about #recovery is “when can I #exercise?” The answer depends on the procedure. Light exercise like walking without getting your heart rate up is usually ok after two weeks but the safe answer for exercise in general is six weeks of “abstinence.”
