Asthma deaths. Most occur out of hospital in those with -chronic severe disease -receiving inadequate medical Rx -been symptomatically deteriorating -adverse behavioural & psychosocial factors Fatality is due to hypoxia & acidosis. Reversal of hypoxia is vital. #WorldAsthmaDay
