I can’t understand the push to under 18 and allowing under 18s play senior. It’s already difficult to manage under 17s with schools, club, county, development squads and other sports. Adding senior eligibility on top of that would be crazy and many are not physically ready
Galway and Cork opposing motion. Kevin O'Donovan maintains decoupling is "sacred". "Our only solution is increasing participation. Decoupling is a cornerstone of that."

Very concerning comments. They are also coming from not one but numerous people involved. It's also sad, for many people including myself the third level GAA years were some of our most enjoyable. It can develop people as well as players
