The shadow of God is truth. Truth can be approached from 5 sides. Religion- connection to creator Self- connection though our created self Nature- connection through the created Community-connection to others (charisma/politics) Science- the known rules/laws reality

Shadows of complex things can appear simple, like a modern skyscraper full of life and enterprise casting a shadow of a rectangle. We can't fully understand the complexity, but we can still ponder the lines and depth of gray.

Organized religion. Like government large churches are about protecting tradition, hacking human flaws, power, and money.

Government. Organizing and improving a society is incredibly complex. Toss in fund raising, closed sessions hidden from scrutiny, outdated systems, and the human triggers and flaws that get attention and votes (fear, consistency, bias, charisma) and success is not possible.

Big business. Profit maximization is fine. But not when it is a primary motivator. Companies with shareholders that require growth, public companies, are evil, even though the people in it don't intend to be.

My experiences have created a do not trust list that appear to resemble the typical lists. Here are a few of mine and why they make the list.

I distrust authority. Because I'm unfamiliar with their experiences and motivations. Not because I assume bad intentions.

They're putting up cameras in Wyoming Ohio. They scan license plates to assist in catching bad guys. They scan your license plate whenever you drive by. This means real time tracking of vehicles. All coming and goings of your family tracked. Not a ballot issue. Just tracking.
