Finally we demonstrate they are effective for in vivo imaging of senescence through both fluorescence and photoacoustic tomography. Using laser induced soundwaves to create an image with the help of our nanoprobe. Thanks @Bohndiek_Lab !!

Chemicaly we found J-aggregate nanoparticles are composed of dimers of ICG, not pristine ICG like previously thought. With past synthesis methods having over 50% by mass of degradation products still present.
