they were for shoto. izuku tells shoto that he doesn't have to forgive his dad, no one would blame him for that, but he wants to eventually because he's very kind and forgiving. he was talking to shoto.

i think what frustrates me most about people saying 'izuku invalidated natsuo's feelings' is that in the scene they're referring to his words. weren't for natsuo lol.
