Ok that last one wasn't really packing related but still a good reminder! Feel free to hit me up if you have any other questions about visiting the city!.

📷 There's a ton of really cool history (Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, ect) and architecture (City hall, the Art Museum, ect) so while you're out and about for lunch hopefully the weather will cooperate and you can get some great pictures!.

👟 Bring comfortable walking shoes. Philly is a SUPER walkable city, our "blocks" are smaller than other citys, but you're still going to get your steps in with the open lunch (Reading Terminal Market 🤤). If you sweat a lot, like me, bring extra socks (You'll thank me later).

🌡️ Wear light (color and weight) clothing. It gets hot in the city. Generally ~80-85F(26-30C) which @andrewmcodes would say isn't that hot BUT it also gets VERY humid, especially with all the rain we've been having. So it'll feel hotter. Stay hydrated!.

🧥 Bring a light rain jacket in case the rain doesn't move off completely. It's already looking better than a few days ago but things can change! It's been really wet this year for some reason. A light rain jacket can be clutch for a pop up storm and is easy enough to pack.

The weather this time of year in Philly generally changes a lot day to day so take the forecast for @railsconf with a grain of salt. Here's my suggestions for anyone traveling from outside the east coast:.
