There's always proportions issues when I draw on paper at first, I try to correct them on digital.Sometimes I also mess up with the space and need to add something (Shao Kahn's forearm/hammer here) somewhere else on the paper, requiring to patch it when doing the digital version

In the end, the buildings were more like silhouette because it's easier and hides the lack of details.The buildings were at first colored a dark purple before I ended up doing it all black.Then I made a dark red version for the buildings to match a red sky version

When I first did him, he was facing forward too much compared to the original so I tried to change it a bit, the arms were also a bit too far from the arms. I didn't complete the buildings because I wasn't quite sure how many more buildings I would make or details I would need.

This "Hokuto no Ken volume 1 cover" reference was the 1st drawing I had done for Gotham Knights.Not very good, but I rarely did backgrounds so it was interesting to try. The clouds were fun to do with an airbrush. You can see it in the last video's outro:
