My deepest condolences to Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz’ family and friends, Jared was a huge Blues fan and I am very devastated to hear about his passing! RIP
I’m saddened to hear that one of the 13 Marines killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan was Jared Schmitz of Wentzville, MO.
At 20 years old, Lance Corporal Schmitz embodied the best of us and served valiantly with honor, courage, and commitment.
