Nice night on the Edmonton sports scene. First the Stingers set a league record for points in a second half with 73 and beat up on Calgary with a 113-90 win. It's their 5th straight and 7th in their last 8 games. Scottie Lindsay led the way with 29.

The @ED_Stingers improve to 6-1 in their last 7 games with a 94-83 win over Montreal. Sean East continues his outstanding season with 35 points. Becoming very evident this is an extremely tight team and they're playing like that right now.

Offence needs to improve but this team isn't going anywhere until the D is more consistent. Do not cover well, little consistent pressure, ill timed penalties. That's not a good combination. #GoElks.

Definitely some positive signs tonight for the EE. But ultimately the better team made plays when it mattered and the Elks couldn't. That's a pattern over many years and many coaching staffs and management.

This is pretty brutal. As a huge Oilers fan for 45 years, it's hard not to feel crushed. And I'm not a player. can't imagine how they'll feel. Felt it was possible this Final but truth be told, even down 3-0 last year, they were more in it at that point than throughout this one.
