First time seeing @Manics live for me too — I always enjoyed their music but wasn’t a super-fan. They were in fine form last night and played most of my favourites (except The Everlasting). What an amazing night!

A magical night at @Yourallypally — @suedeHQ were on fire, as always. We were treated to Still Life, an incredible acoustic Wild Ones and many bangers, old and new. It was also third time lucky for me with the weather for these “summer” gigs!

It was such a treat to see two of my favourite bands in the same weekend at Crystal Palace. @TheNational were outstanding on Friday night, despite the totes inclement weather. We were somewhere in London, loving life in the rain!

Dave is one of the most passionate and knowledgeable coffee people I know, and, most importantly, a very lovely human — help him repair his roaster via the link below ☕️.
My roaster’s electrics burnt out on Wednesday night. It needs £4500 of repairs so I’ve launched a go fund me to try to raise the money. Please like and share and see if we can make it work.

Leaving a little later than usual meant a quieter stroll through the subway and Wolves colour wall. The whole Palace team then paraded down the platform at the station & are on my train—in first class, I assume, unless it was Hughes chanting “3 points again, ole ole” in the loo🤣

Last #wwfc game of the season for me. Shame it wasn’t a better result (and first half performance) but at least the sun was out at the Golden Palace.
