Unfortunately 4-VEP 4317 was hidden away during The Greatest Gathering weekend, at the back of one of the sheds tucked in behind the 4-TC. Luckily however I did manage to see it on it's way up from Strawberry Hill, dragged by equally relegated 33012.

The final set of BLS Greatest Gathering Shuttles, with DRS, Freightliner and Europhoenix all getting in on the action!.DRS 68016 joined 68001 for the first run, then Freightliner took over again with 66622 and 66602, before EPR 37407 stole the show on the last run of the weekend.

A select few of the many Multiple Units on show at The Greatest Gathering, with diesels just as well represented as the electrics. Sprinter liveried 150231, Angel trains 153317, GMPTE 142013 and representing electrics the fantastic BR Blue Grey 313201.

Thanks is deserved for everyone at the @greatestgather who worked into the evening yesterday to get everything in the right place for this morning. I've seen some early footage and it all looks fantastic.

There still seems to be a fair bit to do in preperation for tomorrow with a fair few locomotives to be shunted into their correct position, but the arrival of 390119 means the lineup of visiting locomotives and units is complete!.The Greatest Gathering is officially here!

DRS 57307 and Avanti West Coast 390119 making their way through Runcorn this afternoon, the last delivery to The Greatest Gathering.

Finished just in the nick of time! DCRail Class 56 56301 now back looking good in it's original BR Blue livery as 56045. Seen making tracks towards Derby yesterday, with 60046 and a wagon in tow.

Europhoenix 37901 'Mirrlees Pioneer' making it's way through Derby dragging 91117 'Project Electra' earlier today. A slightly longer route via Peterborough and Doncaster for another opportunity to test the 91 while running along the ECML.

Saving the best till last through Lincoln Central, with Ex-EMR power car 43274 making it's way through Lincolnshire and up to Cleethorpes earlier this morning.

Visiting DB electric 92011 meanwhile saw no work, however it still was a fantastic addition looking good in its new DB red paint in the yard.

Another rainy day at the Midland Railway Railway 200 gala, with the DB locomotives swapping over for another 4 visitors to work the Nemesis Mk3 set.

Today's diesel day at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, forming part of their Rail 200 Summer Gala. Locomotives 08168 (D3236), 33103, 47192 (D1842) and 73001 were all in play, alongside 122006 and the derby lightweight trailer.
