I have basic knowledge of web dev, so it becomes a discussion rather than an argument. Ended up helping some beginner devs with the basics.

Then you're amazing! It's really is the best way to go: understanding each others processes at least on the basic level helps to build a productive conversation.
I wish designers and devs do this more.
