Windows is (almost) 40! How long have you been along for the ride? Age yourself in the comments with the year and first Windows feature you used. #Windows40th

the layers adapt: base ambience + intensity-matched rain + seasonal insects + distant thunder when conditions are right one fun part was building the inside/outside toggle - outside mode = unfiltered audio - inside mode = filtered to simulate hearing it through a window

my puppy needed background noise but every rain app is the same 30s loop and it was driving me crazy so I built something better. Hearaway pulls real weather data (wind speed, temp, etc) and layers audio to simulate what it actually sounds like in different biomes right now

The main reason magic trackpad is so special to us windows users is that it's really well engineered. Similar trackpads made for windows (precision touchpad support, haptic clicks instead of diving-board style) are few and far between, with existing options being very expensive

I've seen a lot about Magic Trackpad supremacy. Didn't make sense to me until I tried it. I use it on windows with custom drivers and it works extremely well. Best $70 I've spent in several months, I main the magic trackpad now. Find one on ebay and you'll never go back
