As a booklover I think the best way to celebrate this day is to read more books about India. Sharing a thread of books from different states and UTs of India. Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳.

We thought we adopted a stay dog, turns out she has adopted us.😁. And to show that she understands her duties she sits outside the house every evening n barks at anyone who so much as looks at our door. Dogs are so loyal! 😍.Also we can no longer order anything after 7pm 😔

I saw an ad for shoes you can slip on. you no longer have to touch them to slide your feet in and all I can think is really? .Now it's too much of a bother to bend down and put on your own shoes?🙄 What are we supposed to do with the 30 seconds saved . watch more reels? .SMH 😔.

I've always loved to travel and 2025 is making up for all the travel I missed due to the pandemic. A short trip to meet some relatives visiting India; many wonderful childhood memories revisited. 😊.Not many pics of the city, all my time was spent going from one lane to another!

The lush greenery( thanks to the monsoons) is so soothing to the eyes and the soul. But if there's one thing I know for sure it is that in a few years these naturally occurring trees and shrubs will be cut. In it's place will be a manicured lawn and some buildings. 😔
