It's hard to walk out of Court with no outcome and we know everyone will be feeling deflated that there's no decision. We will just have to wait now. Thank you for your incredible support and kind words over the last few days they've really carried us through.

We are exhausted but oh so proud of the legal team who absolutely gave it everything over the last few days. We would not be here without their knowledge and expertise and we know that every owner would feel immense pride at how we were represented in Court.

We would all love a final outcome today, but that may not happen. Given the sheer amount of legal documents and depth of the case, the Judge may listen and then take everything away to thoroughly review.

We are back for Day 2 of the Judicial Review and the legal team will be spending a second day presenting their arguments and evidence to Justice Lang.

Some of the DBMLM team are in Court and will be taking notes. We will do our best to update you as the hearing progresses. We are only here because of your support and donations. Thank you 💙

If successful, we could see the ban overturned. If that happens we hope the government consider alternative legislation to tackle the ongoing rise in dog attacks in the UK. Like many others have argued, there is a better, more effective way than banning breeds.

There have been powerful and well-thought out proposals for licensing brought forward to UK government in recent years. The government are not obliged to listen. But we hope that enough voices can convince them to.

We believe that the UK needs better dog legislation. We are not the first to campaign for licensing and our ideas are not original - Every campaign before us has said the same thing and put forward the same suggestions.
