I was given this binder filled w/messages from students & teachers. It’s something that I will cherish always. I've felt adrift after my district decided to cut all librarians. It has been hard for the past few months. but today was a great day.

Our library managers and ambassadors help build our monthly estimation jars! They decide which items would make a great jar that month and build them so that our Timberwolves can start guessing!.

As a school librarian, I read tons of children's books each year, but over the past year I've challenged myself to read more adult books too. I share the books I've read each month with teachers by posting them where I have a captive audience! 😜.

One of the most popular library clubs is Robotics. Soon we will be adding indoor drones and new robots to our fleet! Stay tuned to see all the fun and learning that's to come!.

Dynamic shelving is a great way to get students to check out your entire library space!. Don't be afraid to make changes! Students will appreciate it and find the library more engaging. Plus, you'll help them find books that interest them!.

I could not live without these amazing library managers! They shelve the everybody, non-fiction, and graphic novel sections for me each week! Thanks to their skills and our dynamic shelving, they get it done in record time! Love these Timberwolves!.

It has been a pleasure to work with our Timberwolves on this project! They saw a problem and have found ways to solve it. These Timberwolves (and others not shown here) are exemplifying what it means to be part of the @TerraceElem PACK! I couldn’t be more proud! @SBISD.
Late to posting, but last week's PGP Showcase was wonderful! Loved seeing the finished product of probably my favorite EVER PTA project when we had the absolute pleasure of granting a funding request from some of our youngest students for their Community Impact Project.

The pleasure was all ours! All I heard about today was the visit (and “when will we get our books!?!”). You made such a lasting impression on our students and I just can’t thank you enough! (Also…all books were delivered to cheers of ecstatic children.).

Our @TerraceElem library garden is growing! Soon this garden will be an outdoor classroom for classes to come & use during the school day! Our pollinators, veggies, herbs, insect homes, and more will be sure to bring some interactive learning to our garden! @SBISDLibraries @SBISD

Playing putt-putt is fun. Playing putt-putt alongside our favorite book characters…even more fun! Our @TerraceElem Timberwolves love reading, so it’s no surprise they loved this course! #ReadAcrossAmericaDay was a book-tastic hit! @SBISD @SBISDLibraries
