In the US, high drug prices are born out of a highly dysfunctional system where PBMs often dictate reality. Yet again, @DaveYostOH is on the leading edge nationally of targeting the latest schemes that inflate costs for employers & patients @JaredSHopkins

@amyklobuchar Senator-PBMs are the problem! They make more on insulin than the manufacturers and they pay me below my cost on most if not all insulins! THEY ARE THE BIGGEST PROBLEM!

@CarterHighRPh @linakhanFTC And this happens a lot more than people think! Thousands of dollars of waste…just keeps being sent! Patient deemed compliant because meds are sent “on time” despite not needing. 🤬

Brought in by a patient today. $30k 😳 in #mailorder wastage. #medicare wasted tax dollars. Patient said they were forced to use this mail order after she said stop sending meds. @linakhanFTC
