My heart goes out to #TamirRice’s family, especially to his mother, Samaria Rice, on today, Tamir’s birthday. He should be celebrating 21 years. It is a grave injustice that he’s not. And I just can’t imagine how devastating that is for Ms. Rice…I’m sorry.

Instead of showing me your diversity statement, show me your hiring data, your discrimination claim stats, your salary tables, your retention numbers, your diversity policies, and your leaders’ public actions against racism. End performative allyship.
