A consignment of emergency relief goods donated by the Government of Japan through the #JICA was officially handed over to the Government of Sri Lanka today at the Cargo Village, Bandaranaike International Airport, to support communities severely affected by Cyclone “Ditwah”.

Representatives from Mercy Malaysia met with the Director General of the #DMC on Today (03). Mercy Malaysia indicated its interest in deploying medical relief teams to support communities affected by Cyclone Ditwah. @dmc_lk

A delegation from the European Union, led by Madam Isabelle D’Haudt, met with the Director General of the Disaster Management Centre on 2nd December. The EU commended ongoing national response efforts and reaffirmed their willingness to extend support to relief and recovery.
