Meteorology Department warns of rain in many parts of the island over the next few days. Heavy rainfall over 100 mm is expected in parts of the Eastern, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, and Southern Provinces, as well as some areas in Polonnaruwa. Other areas may receive over 75 mm.
