Group chats in ChatGPT are now rolling out globally. After a successful pilot with early testers, group chats will now be available to all logged-in users on ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus and Pro plans.

My favorite part: in group chats, ChatGPT understands group dynamics, knowing when to respond (or stay quiet), can react to messages with emojis, and can reference profile photos when generating images. Group chats are private by default: personal memory is never used, joining

Awesome to see the constant improvement to Codex from @embirico & team! It’s totally changed my workflow — as a PM I’ve shipped 5 PRs to prod in the last couple weeks for small fixes, copy changes, etc using Codex rather than bugging our engineering team
📣 Just shipped a small update to GPT-5-Codex, addressing some feedback since launch: - Better collab when you're editing the same files - Less `git reset`ing - Slightly more time/cost efficient: 3% - More reliably edits with apply_patch Glad people have noticed. More soon.
