Recently, WorldVeg- East and Southeast Asia’s Regional Director, Delphine Larrousse visited Dr. Chuang Suo-hang, Representative to Thailand, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO) in Bangkok to discuss the Center’s major projects in 2023.

Internally displaced people from fragile and conflict-affected states like Burkina Faso often face #FoodInsecurity and a lack of livelihood options. The short-cycle seed kits hope to support communities by giving access to traditional, easy-to-grow, nutritious vegetables.

WorldVeg made the largest single deposit at Svalbard this year with 11,113 samples of 60 species. Two Indigenous communities worked with WorldVeg to also deposit local varieties such as rice bean, lablab and yard-long bean. @CropTrust
