Went to watch Pig Heart Boy at Unicorn Theatre 2 weekends ago and it was SO good!! The set design, lighting, storytelling, sound engineering, the physical theatre and acting were all incredible and it was so much fun! Def recommend- especially for Black children! 10/10!!

This expands out in to SO many industries as well. People arent being nurtured anymore. Everything is about numbers numbers numbers and you need to have them yourself in a lot of instances. This then narrows the gap for other people to get in.
Artists: labels do not care about talent anymore, they care about popularity.

I’m mixed & swam all my life as my Black mother couldn’t and didn’t want her kids to be the same. I now run an adult swim school where 90% of swimmers are Black women & I am director of a CIC that runs free lessons in W. London for kids & women. A few observations:
Sport England statistics show 95% of Black British adults don’t swim & 80% of Black British children don’t swim. What are your experiences of swimming? Can you swim? If so, where & how did you learn? If not, why not? Were there any barriers?
