Why can’t people just say something nice about someone without qualifying it? “I’m sorry you have cancer.” It’s not that hard to say. Because when you say “I’m sorry you have cancer, but you’re stupid,” it makes your entire remark invalid and insincere. Practice being more like
Ben Sasse is a terrible politician but a fantastic human being. I’m sad about his cancer diagnosis but not surprised with his wonderful courageous response. In the end it’s character that counts and he wins in a landslide.

Raw milk is not illegal. Some states prohibit farmers from selling it. But you’re completely free to buy it and drink it. I don’t believe I know any adults who drink milk, though. It would be irresponsible, in my opinion, to give raw milk to children. Why take the risk?
