Y’all hear that new

#Twerkulator
?! Pretty dope they sampled Planet Rock & Perculator! People already asking online about how many Djs will mix these three together but I flipped a little something extra fo ya!!!
Dj promo video be like.. (slo-mo) walks past line through vip ropes, handshake-hugs some people, dj doing trap arms, hot chicks/crowd, bottle delivery (with sparklers of course) all while latest drake song plays in background.
I DJed in a mall today for the first time in forever. It reminded me of when I was super young and would go to the mall and walk into stores and be like “It would be dope to DJ this store.” When mall sets were at the top of my gig list 😂 the good ol days
It seems like deejays who play regular versions in the club are a dying breed. Why do all these of these deejays feel the need to play remixes with wack drops?
I swear if you can play on two turntables and a mixer you can figure out how to play on anything.. unless it’s hooked up at Guitar Center.. Nobody can figure that shit out.
I have an announcement ya’ll! I’ve enrolled in barber school! I’m super excited. This has been a dream for a very long time. Don’t trip though, I won’t stop djing, barbering will just be another passion. From one type of “cuts” to another!
I never settle for playing on a controller when I have the chance to. I don’t have anything against them, but a lot of Djs will settle for the sake of convenience. I’m more concerned about giving my best performance, which would be on 2 turntables and an s11/s9.
I really hate when people lead with a compliment then follow with a song suggestion.. “Omg you’re absolutely killing it right now but (insert lame song) would really pump this place up right now” haha
I once got called a kiss-ass by another dj for liking other DJ’s routines that he didn’t think were good. Firstly, I appreciate anyone who has the guts to put their art out. Secondly, the power of a simple “like” can drive that person to keep going. Spread love. Don’t hate.
I had a colonoscopy this am. Mom passed from colon cancer so it was inevitable I do it, but due to complications the doctor suggested ASAP. Had to make sure I’m good for fam. Now just waiting on results, but Dr’s first glance said he doesn’t think anything in cancerous. Thank God
I suck at organizing my music. I admit it can help. But I also take a ton of pride in building a vibe off of knowing music and selecting off feeling rather than using crates as crutches the majority of time.
I’ve had people tell me I wouldn’t be able to accomplish things in my career because of my style and personality type. In their eyes it wouldn’t work for certain situations. I’ve accomplished those things and it feels even better that I did it my way while keeping my integrity.
Got the word I’m back on for my second season as the official arena dj for the
@AZCardinals
, and we are goin bigger and better this year!

Traveling for dj gigs is amazing but I also get really bummed when they put me in a nice hotel and I see all these families having a good time at the pool. Makes me miss my little family!
Some “deejays” do it for the look, the clout, to be seen. Real djs to it for the love of the music, to make people happy, dance, all that good stuff. That’s the difference.
In no way am I quiting djing. I just have always wanted to be a barber and it’s time. The same energy I put into djing is how I’m coming for the barber world
I seriously have
@Twitch
to thank over that last year for giving me an audience to practice my mic skills on. After all of these years I now feel comfortable to rock the mic at sold out football games for the
@AZCardinals
😂
For a while I’ve been cool with cdjs. I can get the job done on em.. But I’m not out to just “get the job done.” I wanna give my best performance at every show. Tables & an S9 allow me to do so. From now on I’m pushin for tables at all my gigs. Fr fr
Debating on posting this mix. All old school, mostly eighties, early nineties.. Price, BBD, Rakim, Funkadelic, Luther.. made if for my uncle and I accidentally deleted it but he just sent it to me.
If lames don’t like what you’re playing, play more of that then they’ll leave and then there’ll just be cool people who appreciate your music and what you’re doing. 🤷🏻♂️
Message. Btw, this doesn’t apply to all cops, I got love for a lot of you, but let’s agree some of them don’t deserve the badge.

It’s wild all the places djing has led me. Truly thankful. Airwaves, sports arenas, comedy stages, film, tv. If you have a talent let that bring you to different places and experiences in your life.
Yo IG algorithm is fuckin wack. I hate that I’m not seeing all of the people I wanna keep up with on the regular, and how they gonna deprive me of all the dope shit I wanna see!?
I don’t understand how people can completely ignore the homeless. Saw a man digging in the trash for food, people walking in and out of the restaurant with their bellies full or about to get full and nobody bothers to ask this human if he would like a meal. I hooked him up.

@djchrisvilla
From the gig to the airport. 6am flight out of Indy to be back in Phoenix by 7 so I can make it to “Doughnuts with Dad” at my daughter’s school by 8. ❤️
I appreciate the girl who held up her phone last night just to say “it’s lit” with a thumbs up.. she was just enjoying the vibes and showin love. more of that in these bars please
I don’t get how people complain about too many podcasts. There can never be enough podcasts.. Knowledge/perspective/experiences of all types. That’s just free game.
I’m gonna keep my phone brightness on high when I’m djing so when people come shoving their phones in my face for requests I’m gonna do the same shit back.
I hope the world gets off this social media wave though. It’s unhealthy and scary how people use it. People are more interested in showing off and appearing happy than actually living in the moment.
Heard a bunch of different dj sets this week and I’m feelin inspired for tonight. Never stop being a fan of the craft and always show love to your fellow djs. ✌🏽
Randoms already trying to use dj live-streams for their own gain with no compensation other than “we think it’ll be good exposure for you.” Nope! I play for the ♥️ but this is also work & we’re in a pandemic. Some clients/causes might be worth it, but Djs don’t be easily fooled
Love all the streams being able to check in with my homies or catch some new djs I haven’t heard play yet. Love it all. It takes a lot to go live! So big up to everyone who’s making the effort.
Sometimes u gotta know when to call it. I’ve been sick off & on for the last couple weeks. Haven’t properly rested/recovered. Didn’t listen to my body had to cancel gigs. Sucks but rather be %100 for my fam than anything.
I wanna say NO MEANS NO more than ever when it comes to requests. After that I won’t elaborate any further because I won’t have someone screaming & spitting in my face during this pandemic. Your song isn’t worth risking my fam’s health & mine. Don’t be selfish. Be respectful ✌🏽
I just want my fam to remember me as a great father, husband, brother, son, and the community as someone who genuinely cared and tried to help where he could.
If you’re in a relationship and that person is changing you for the worst get out that shit NOW. Tired of seeing good people lose themselves to toxicity.
