I’m blown away this morning by the sheer determination, of my beautiful daughter.6 months after losing her sight in an attack She aced her Leaving Cert with great results like 70-80% in history & home ec, 80-90% in English&French, 90-100% in Maths! I am the proudest father

1st day in court with those responsible for assaulting my daughter gave us some hope that there would be consequences for their actions but instead they got €200 bail. So disheartening but will continue to ask God to give us strength for Alanna. 🙏🏾

So this happened in Court today.
Curfew lifted for the guys charged for the assault on my daughter that caused her to lose an eye & blinded.
This news & pain is unbearable for Alanna. Absolutely devastated!
They are free to roam the streets at night.

Had another surgery yesterday. Fat was taken from stomach to reconstruct the eye socket which has sunken in.

We had our day in court today. 4years and 6 months imprisonment for one Alanna’s attackers Darragh Lyons.
We are obviously disappointed with this but the main thing now is to be there for Alanna 🙏🏾

After a disappointing initial experience with the courts when the curfews were lifted for the men who attacked my Daughter.

.. The lads are based in the same neighborhood and Alanna is now more likely to bump into them. She is petrified and would only leave the house at certain times. Her freedom is extremely limited. She is the one being punished.Thanks to every1’s support & kind words 🙏🏾

Our courts have just ruled that if you knock a young girl under a

train, traumatise her for life it's all ok, you just get a telling off and walk.
This same feral gang now free to attack any female, not a bother, no consequences.
They learn this hatred of women at home.
