There's a serious lack of professionalism and self respect among Indians. I highly doubt a yt would ever dance like that for an Indian client. It's so embarrassing how even the smallest event turns into a cringe-fueled mess because of awkward, unnecessary dancing
When foreign clients are welcomed like this, is it a culture-rich icebreaker…or corporate cringe? You decide.

just came across a twt where someone said that in India, kindness and humility aren't rewarded, they make you a target. At first, I couldn't relate cuz I'm not surrounded by ppl like that, but judging by the replies and qts, it seems to hold true for much of Indian society.
No hate to anyone, but if I were a husband, I could never let my wife touch my feet like this. I know it’s part of tradition for some, but I believe love and respect in a marriage should flow both ways. So if my wife touched my feet, I’d touch hers too period.

people often compensate for a lack of personality by clinging to whatever they've been sold the idea of as cool, and cigarettes are the oldest trick in that book. if you have to smoke to look cool, you're not cool ✋.

After millennia of migrations, invasions, dynastic upheavals, droughts, massacres, and cultural overhauls, our ancestral lines have been so disrupted that we can't even say for sure whether those who lived in these lands during the Mahabharata were truly our ancestors.
Who supported whom in the Mahabharata War?.We mapped every kingdom mentioned in the Mahabharata based on ancient texts and modern scholarship to answer one burning question:. Did your ancestors fight for the Pandavas or the Kauravas? [Thread]

One time, this lady with a kanglu pheno holding a god's idol in a thali came up asking me for money. I didn't give her anything, and she straight up wished me a bad journey. People take that stuff seriously here, especially with how dangerous the mountain roads can be.
@divya7s7 Either they beg for money or they guilt trip you to buy dirty flowers from them.

I try so damn hard to keep them from touching me. I dodge them, but somehow, they still manage to get to me, poke me on the shoulder with their filthy hands and ask me for money, and I'm just like, great, now I need to disinfect my soul and take a dettol shower again.
We really don't talk enough about these seemingly harmless kids. They throw the same nasty looks u'd expect from a full grown street creep whisper things among themselves then burst out laughing sm even try to touch u while asking for money, get too close, make crude gestures or.
