To be a good engineer, you need to always have a side project. This encourages learning and experimentation with new tech and paradigms, but also maintains & grows passion for the craft. Good software is art. Don’t stop evolving your taste. You are not done.

Built an entire app out using ai in 3 weeks, looks pretty good and is quite performant but the code is spaghetti, gonna spend today rewriting most of it to be more readable and use useEffects less 🙏🏻.
