Yesterday, @discoveryseabob with Discovery Sea Adventures in Bonavista sent me images of a humpback whale missing its tail flukes! He said the whale was moving but appeared in poor shape (and covered with cymids). If anyone sees this whale please report it to myself or Bob?

Forgot to add the photos! (the right image is the tail "stump", where the flukes should be. Such an amazing loss to survive - might have been a ship strike, or fluke strangulation by a tight gear entanglement.
