We are the original DiscoBots Robotics team, students mostly from @LamarHS, Westside & @CarnegieRhinos FRC (#2587) & VEX (#285,2587) est. 2007.

We were thrilled to participate in the District Championship event at GRB Houston. The robot performed well with a consistent L4 autonomous. Our students were limited on FRC experience and learned quickly this year.

Texas Region 3 Championship happened this week. Lamar , Carnegie Vanguard and DeBakey teams all qualified for this event. 285x won a Judges Award and 7390a won the Create Award

Carnegie’s 285X Robotics Team competed in their second event of the season at the Katy Gobbler Games on Nov 23rd. The team earned the Innovate Award and reached quarterfinals.

Lamar HS team 2587v competed at the VEX US Nationals event this past weekend. They made the playoff rounds and had a great experience.

Region 3 State Championship ended this weekend. The DiscoBots organization had 3 CVHS , 2 Lamar and 2 DeBakey teams competing at the event. We enjoyed the VEX season and thank CCISD for hosting this event !
