How does my UGC appeal get accepted and rejected at the same time? @Roblox @robloxdevrel My item is accepted but stuck in moderation and unable to be placed on sale. This isn't the first time either- I have multiple items "stuck" like this. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got a 7-day suspension for terrorism/extremism over a text bubble that says "well well well". This item has been on the platform for over a year without issue, but now it’s a national security threat? This is the kind of moderation creators are dealing with on Roblox.

Honestly sad to see stuff like this uploaded to the Roblox marketplace. Imagine a kid sees this and has their whole Christmas ruined. ☹️

The UGC community deserves better protection. Roblox needs to take UGC theft seriously- because right now, originality is being punished, and theft is being rewarded. If this has happened to you, I’d love to hear your experience in the replies 👇

This has been happening for years, but it’s now on a whole new level. Creators spend hours designing, animating, and testing their items- only to see their work stolen, reuploaded, and boosted by the algorithm.

Some of these item-stealing groups and users actually got verified because of the items and emotes they stole. They’ve made tens of thousands of dollars from copied work- and were rewarded for it. One of the biggest stealing groups owns several top emotes- all stolen.

It’s not just accessories either- there are hundreds of stolen emotes across the platform. Search for any popular animation and you’ll find dozens of identical copies flooding the marketplace.

These groups are made to steal. Their uploader gets banned for stealing? They just make a new one and keep going. There’s no real penalty, so the cycle never ends. Moderation affects uploaders, not group owners. DMCA affects both- we need a DMCA rework to make it usable again.

Even if you do get an item taken down through a DMCA, these groups send a counterclaim with fake information- knowing there’s nothing you can do. You won’t spend tens of thousands on legal fees over a Roblox item. And boom- their copy is back on sale.
