We have been feeding them a mix of soft & dry food. They have several pet beds, crates & spots to rest outside. Water dispenser.. and lots of toys. Felt balls and springs were the favs. Sad day. We will miss him.

Leg doesn’t feel broken. Obviously shook up. Got both kittens inside and monitored them until well after sunrise in case the coyote came back. Momma cat sat by the patio door on guard. Really sad. We had grown fond of the kittens and will miss him. At least it appeared quick…

Felt wrong to just put into the alley trash. The other kittens & mom got to have a bit to see him before I left. I wanted them to know he didn’t just disappear. Another kitten got attacked, but not serious injured. No lacerations, and only a limp for now…

It got one of the kittens. I ran to check on him (laying in the grass) but it was too late. He was gone. Got him into a box with a towel from the spot they liked to nap in while momma circled it. Heartbreaking. Took to a 24hr vet to get him cremated…

Pretty sad today. A local stray that visits often had kittens in our yard this summer. They’re super cute & social. We’ve been taking care of them. Easy this morning, a camera alert went off… a coyote got into the yard. I chased it off immediately, but unfortunately…

Cast is obviously great. Leo & Benicio are always awesome. There’s a lot to like in the film, I just have a hard time seeing that it’s his best work. Still thankful for any new PTA film.

The road sequence at the end is great… but that’s due mainly to shooting with a long lens which reduced the depth and heightens the tension and the reveal. The most “Radiohead” sounding score Greenwood has done. Many parts felt very similar to Pyramid Song & Burn The Witch.

Saw #OneBattleAfterAnother last night. I enjoyed it… but I still maintain the There Will Be Blood is a better film (PTA’s best). I even think Boogie Nights is better. I need to rewatch it and let it simmer a bit more. I feel like the relevant themes are part of the hype.

Saw NIN last night in Phoenix. Second time seeing them (also 2018). Been a fan since the early 90s. Absolutely awesome show. Really fucking great.

Understandable that production was difficult as I’ve never seen a poster like this. 2 prints plus adhesive. Wife & I got 3 total. Can display all 3 states. Unpeeled. Partial peel & fully peeled.

Apparently there was a production issue so most shows didn’t have them and the tour only has a few dates left. They obv corrected the issue and put them online. As it’s not venue specific, it’s either a huge run or a print on demand (doesn’t ship until Oct 17).

Finally watched Weapons tonight (limited screenings near us made theater difficult). Wow. Easily the best horror flick I’ve seen in 20 years.
