i still think its worth a watch though. it's also on the shorter side of analog horrors, with 2 Acts and 1 intermission currently out, and only one more act and intermission set to come out (which I believe is supposed to be the movie).

MA is a bit campier at times, and it also takes A LOT of inspiration from anime. I'm talking, not one but TWO evangelion-style military operation footage with bomb ass classical music playing, and once its said and done, the screen flashes "OBLITERATED." insane aura.

VC also uses a lot of different formulas to get the story across. it goes live action, 3D animation, and of course VHS tapes. its pretty cool. I think it's a good entrance into the genre because it delivers quite well, while straying away from campiness that the genre can have.

midwest angelica - its kinda silly but like, a good silly. Everything pieces together nicely and *everything* is a clue. the video, the title, the description, it all adds up to the narrative. and its gonna have its own Movie!!!! thats so awesome!!! (its also cosmic horror).

local58 - i mean everyone knows this one. its like, the very first one or smth, or at least the one that popularized the genre. its a cool cosmic horror story, it feels like a complex puzzle. once it branches into an ARG it could probably lose people but I liked it.

ive been on a tangent recently, here's 3 analog horror series i actually recommend you check out:.vita carnis - meat creatures!! it dives into biology and its an avenue ive never really seen explored, and its so cool. yea it takes a bit to become horror but idc its neat.
