Traditions are traditions. They must be respected regardless of circumstance. I present to the Twitterverse... my "class selfies" for 2020 Spring! I truly love/miss my students. I wish they could've been here for this end-of-semester ritual. @UNOCBA #MavSpirit #moonshooting

First cardiac rehab session was this morning. Starting very light... But still more activity than I have had since October 2017! LOL #GoGators #CWS #RoadToOmaha #ZipperClub

I'm trying to join you there in Omaha @GatorsBB, but I need some things to go my way this week in my cardiac rehab. Regardless, stay focused and play hard! https://t.co/7AwmaJENhF

If I don't manage the first part, I'm staring heart attack #7 in the face. I missed the 2017 CWS entirely (at Shands in FL)... I REALLY don't want to miss the 2018 CWS title defense! Must lobby my doctors for permission to go. Bypass, shmypass... I belong in Omaha next week.

Follow-up visit at Mayo went exceptionally well. My progress has exceeded their expectations... Perhaps because I'm much younger than their normal clientele. :) Cardiac rehab starts in one week! #BeGreaterThanAverage #TeamDiller

I couldn't recommend this place any more than I will from this moment forward. The Mayo Clinic is simply THE best in the business. @MayoClinic

The difference is huge. In my opinion, it is NOT easily imitated... Though so many try, and ultimately fail. This was a tremendous experience. The Mayo QoS & operational efficiency (from TPS, CRM, and ERP), and sincerity of the personnel is far above any other provider.

Minutes away from leaving the Mayo Clinic. I'm about to start another chapter in my life, made possible by them. I mean no offense to my friends who work at Shands, UNMC, and other healthcare facilities around the world... But there is a CLEAR difference in the Mayo Experience.

In an hour, I'll eat my first solid food since last Thursday. Doctors say that I'm likely to be released tomorrow! I have to get through those mandatory "patient education" videos first... and they seem brutal to watch. This isn't award-winning filmmaking were dealing with here.

So, last night's setbacks didn't have too great an effect on me today. I got some sleep, got a couple more tubes out, and they say I might get food here tomorrow. We shall see. I'll sleep well tonight for sure. I hope all of you got to observe Memorial Day!

Put him on a different type of oxygen cannula which is bigger and allows him to breathe easier. They put him on another heart med to help with the atrial fibrillation. He is resting pretty comfortably now. Keep praying. We need all the prayers we can get.

Breathing had become more difficult since the surgery. About 6 this morning he had breathing distressed episode and some atrial fibrillation. His abdomen had also had become distended with gas. They put an NG tube down to relieve the abdominal distention.
