This is why we need to protect education and health budgets in Sri Lanka, and especially early childhood development budgets. I would argue that childcare budgets also make that investment.

An interesting read. 2 takeaways I see for Sri Lanka: 1st, America s trade deficit is because it spends more than it produces. So, SL policy makers could not have pre-empted this. 2nd, travel has not been taxed. Tourism should be our #1 priority.
