This picture of McTominay went viral a few days ago with a lot of persons admiring the way the suit looked on him and how he looks completely unrecognizable from his days at Manchester United. That's what the Neapolitan cut can do to you, you achieve comfort and sophistication👌

get out of your suit is because you don't feel that way, you feel uncomfortable because it's not breathable, the shoulders are not lightweight but are well padded. I'm not saying the British cut is bad, I'm just saying it's not as suited to the Nigerian environment.

I know this because of the way the Neapolitan suit is designed and cut to look and feel on the wearer. They're expected to feel comfortable, lighter and more breathable. When you wear a suit in Nigeria, you want to feel that way and the reason you can't wait to.

Why not? Our weather closely resembles where it originates from. The pictures below are from similar days in London and Naples, which one feels closer to your Nigerian environment more?. If the days are similar, the weather conditions are more likely to me similar as well

While I understand the reason many Nigerians prefer the British cut, I belong to the school of thought that Nigerians should consider adopting the Neapolitan cut of suits.🧵

This is a very slippery slope, I don't think she understands it because the interpretation of this is vague.

Except you need it for a play or something, you'll end up having a clothing item in your wardrobe that you'll never need.

Going thrift shopping isn't just about trying to get clothes for a good deal, it's about trying to get what you need and what will be perfect for your climate. For example, how can you explain going to the market and returning with a puffer jacket in Nigeria 🤦‍♂️
