Updates: . Tesla insurance support now leads to 404 page.Tesla appear to have cancelled the claim on their back end but have kept it active in the app .No contact in >15 days .Have filed complaint with CA board of insurance.More folks reaching out to me with similar stories.

@Tesla Gathering intel seems like a widespread issue, customers aross US cannot reach Tesla. No one is responding to emails or calls. Looks like possible solution is escalate to CA dept of insurance to force a response from tesla.

Here in CA I used to have Metromile but during the summer I was planning to have a bunch of road trips and my rates would be sky high, so I switched over to Tesla Insurance as it was days away...
