Earlier this week, D-E Spanish Club members created an "ofrenda" in the front lobby! This is a memorial meant to celebrate and honor the life of those who passed and is a common element in Day of the Dead celebrations.

Unfortunately the Eagles were not able to come out with the win last night and the 2022 season is over. We want to thank all of the players, coaches, and parents for a great season! Especially to Coach Hauswald #WizardOfHaus for bringing pride back to the Eagle program.

aren Miller lost her son Aidan to sudden cardiac arrest in July of 2019. He collapsed while out fishing with friends. She says an AED would have saved his life.

Students in Mrs. Thoma's 3/4 Spanish Class learned about the the Cuban raft exodus of the 1990s, and built their own rafts using garbage, then tested them in the "sea" with coins and other objects symbolizing the refugees.

Elementary Art Instructor Mrs. Peterson is donating her time to teach a Community Education class called "Pottery with Mrs. Peterson." All profits from this class are donated to the elementary art budget. In the first session, students had fun using glaze to paint a ceramic bowl.
