Over the 12-year period to 2022, @PublicHealthW reported an increase of almost 60,000 people with diabetes - a 40% rise. “If current trends continue,” PHW warned recently, “by 2035/36 we estimate that around 1 in 11 adults will be living with diabetes in Wales.”

It feels good to be going to the Eisteddfod today in Pontypridd with so much Welsh being spoken around me in this part of Wales, people swapping languages without thinking and with the @tfwrail service being bilingual as usual. Year 2 of Welsh classes start for me next month!
