Despite losing James Murphy โ who started 53 games at shortstop in 2025 โ @HPUBaseball will stay old at the position with the addition of grad transfer Willie Ponce (@WillieePoncee). Ponce hit .357/.466/.552 in three years as an everyday player at Division II Eastern New Mexico.

.@HPUBaseball returns a solid core of holdovers from last year's team that led the nation in scoring, led by Landen Johnson (@LandenJohnson15). The first baseman is coming off a monster season in which he hit .362/.449/.656 with 18 doubles, 16 homers and a nation-high 86 RBIs.
